Welcome to Rosebank Cottage by the Sea on beautiful Texada Island British Columbia!
Texada island is the largest of the Gulf Islands (except Vancouver Island) and is situated between Powell River on the mainland, and Comox on Vancouver Island. It is well served by BC Ferries (car ferry) to and from Powell River.
The population of this large island is about 1200 people year round, with more in the summer. Texada gets more hours of sunshine and less rain than either Powell River or Comox – it definitely deserves its designation as the most northerly part of the Sunshine Coast! Winters are generally mild, but winter storms can be spectacular, especially with unimpeded ocean view!
This charming older home has a very private suite, and is perched on the side of a hill on the very edge of Van Anda Cove – with fabulous ocean views. Rosebank Cottage is located in the tiny village of Van Anda, with picturesque views of the old government wharf, and beyond to Georgia Strait and Powell River.
Facing east, the suite greets the morning sun with spectacular sunrises. The fully furnished suite has a private deck with BBQ, cable TV and WiFi, private entrance, full kitchen and laundry facilities.
For hikers, bikers, and kayakers. We have tried to meet all your needs – just bring your suitcase!
